Prompt intervention and referral

Hello Ray,

It’s Friday evening and I am all fixed thanks to your prompt intervention. You went the ‘extra mile’ for me, and I do appreciate it.

Your recruitment of Dr. Brad Knight was key to prompt resolution. He pushed ‘me’ through the Northwestern ‘system’ in what must have been close to record time. You contacted Dr. Knight on Wednesday; he saw me in his office on Thursday to diagnose the problem and arrange for the appropriate procedures. This morning, Friday, I had a Transesophageal Electrocardiography (TEE) and a Cardioversion under anesthesia, which was successful and now my EKG is normal. Dr Knight prescribed Eliquis, 90 days with refills.

Natalie Cole promptly responded to my initial contact by phone on Wednesday morning to ‘get the ball rolling’. I thank her also for quickly responding to my medical concern, which I only discovered that morning after using my Kardia device.

A wonderful outcome.
