The Clinic is Here for You
In the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, it’s been inspiring to witness the resilience and determination of our community. We all know the recovery won’t happen overnight, but the progress already made is nothing short of remarkable. Everywhere you look, neighbors are helping one another, and the long line of contractors waiting to cross the bridge is a clear sign of the help pouring in.
There’s an undeniable sense of purpose on the island.
The sun is shining, and you can hear the songs of Jimmy Buffett fill the air as local businesses continue their clean-up efforts. Lee County teams have been incredible, tirelessly clearing debris, removing garbage, and making the island safer by the day. The firehouse is offering water, toilets, and showers to everyone. It’s all a welcome boost for everyone’s spirits.
At the Clinic, we remain committed to providing care.
Our doctors are on the island daily, making house calls and caring for those in need. Telehealth and phone consultations are happening remotely, and we’re here around the clock for urgent needs. The Clinic itself weathered the storm well, though the Annex will need to be demolished due to severe flooding from Helene, then Milton. We’ve cleared our parking lot, and with water service expected soon, we’ll do a deep clean and determine when we can reopen for scheduled appointments.
In the meantime, the Clinic is here for you.
- Our team is personally answering or responding to every phone call during normal clinic hours, ready to connect you with a nurse or provider and to assist with prescription refills. Call 941-964-2276 for assistance.
- Our physicians are on the island doing house calls and our providers are available during normal business hours for telehealth and phone consultations.
- A physician is available after hours. Please call 941-964-2276 and follow the instructions for after-hours care.
Boca Grande Strong
There’s no denying that the recovery will be a long journey with many challenges to overcome, but the resilience of this community continues to amaze me. It’s inspiring to be part of a community that’s faced so many challenges and keeps coming out stronger. We’ve still got a lot of work ahead, but I know we’ll get through this, together.
Stay safe, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything.
