Clinic website provides wealth of health information

If you’re looking for the latest information on issues and conditions affecting your health, the Boca Grande Health Clinic’s website is a great resource.

The goal is to provide patients and Islanders with a simple way to access important information for their own health, and the health of the community.

“We strive to publish a website that is the source of truth and information for our patients and those who visit the Island,” said Mark Driscoll, Boca Grande Health Clinic CEO. “Many in our community looked to the Clinic for up-to-date information during the COVID-19 pandemic, and today, our website is much more than that. We tackle all the health topics important to our patients.”

The Clinic’s website is also a place for the center’s physicians to raise awareness and help educate the community on health conditions and ways to stay healthy.

The website is divided into eight main sections: Home, About, For Patients, Events, Resources, Donate and Contact. The home page provides patients with quick ways to interact with the Clinic, preview the latest healthcare news, or just simply take a minute to rest while enjoying drone videos of our beautiful Island.

On average, the website attracts 15,000 visits per year, with the Doctors & Staff page, followed by Tributes/Submit a Tribute pages as the most visited of the site. There are 37 pages of content and 120+ health news articles on the website.

The site is updated weekly with helpful information, articles, announcements and tributes sent in from patients. Here are some key areas to explore:
