Thomas J. Ervin, M.D.

 

Dr. Ervin joined the clinic in November 2014. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Ervin practices internal medicine at the Clinic. He completed medical school at the University of Rochester and medical internship at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY, and Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, MA. Dr. Ervin completed his hematology/oncology training at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Ervin has taught internal medicine, hematology, and oncology Harvard and at the Maine Medical Center affiliate of the University Of Vermont School Of Medicine. Dr. Ervin joined Florida Cancer Specialists where he practiced until 2014.

Lauren Hana, M.D.

 

 

 

Dr. Hana joined the Clinic as a full time physician on July, 2016. Dr. Hana comes to us from the University of Florida Health where she has been a full time Assistant Professor and Hospitalist Physician for the past five years. Prior to her present position she practiced general internal medicine in private practice for fifteen years. She specialized in the treatment of chronic medical conditions in adults with emphasis on both men and women's health. She is a graduate of the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine and completed her residency at Northwestern University Evanston and Glenbrook Hospitals. Dr. Hana is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

 

Dr. Hana and her husband, Rick, have two grown children. Their daughter, Alexandra, is completing graduate school at George Washington University in Washington, DC and their son, Maxwell, lives and works in Tampa. Dr. Hana and her husband reside in Boca Grande.

Raymond James, D.O.

 

The Boca Grande Health Clinic is pleased to announce that Dr. Raymond James will be joining its Medical Staff in March 2018, at the Boca Grande Health Clinic where he will soon become a full time physician on staff. For an appointment with Dr. James please call the Clinic at 941-964-2276.

 

Dr. James comes to the Clinic from Englewood Community Hospital where he has served as the Director of Emergency Medicine for 10 years. He is also the founder and president of the Englewood Community Care Clinic, a provider of free medical care to people who can’t afford health insurance. Prior to his present position Dr. James held the positions of Medical Director and Emergency Medicine physician at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte. Throughout his medical career, he has held a number of leadership roles and has provided more than 21 years of volunteer service within his community and abroad. He is a graduate of Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Metropolitan Hospital, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. James is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
