Being there when it really counted

We are new residents to the island and arrived end of October for a long stay. At Christmas I contracted Covid for the first time and as someone with asthma, I was in pretty bad shape. My husband called our Doctor up north but they were hard to reach and were not much help.
He then called the Island Health Clinic even though we had not established ourselves with them yet and within 1 hour I had Paxlovid. It really saved me.
