The best medical care we could possibly find anywhere

My husband and I first met Dr. Raymond James and his wife Kathy as neighbors on Carrick Bend Lane a couple of years ago. The day we moved into our new home there, they arrived with a “welcome” basket and an invitation for us to join them on the beach for the sunset. That was the first of many times we watched sunsets (and Saturn’s rings) since then. In August of 2020, I had a stroke while back in Virginia Beach. My husband called Dr. James immediately who helped us determine what to do but also – and perhaps more importantly – paved the way through the HealthNetwork for an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic. He and Kathy remain friends of ours, and Dr. James has become our physician. He is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, dedicated and doesn’t stop until he finds the cause of (and cure for) a particular issue. As we all know, this is such a beautiful island with so many interesting, talented, and friendly people and so many activities in which to participate and through which to learn. However, we are all incredibly fortunate to have the wonderful resources of the Boca Grande Health Clinic, its staff, and its physicians who are accessible and strive to provide us with the best medical care we could possibly find anywhere.
