
Emily Haly, M.D.

Dr. Emily Haly (pronounced hail-ee) joined the Clinic full time in November 2022. Board-certified in internal medicine, she received her bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University and her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, where she also completed her internship and residency.
She brings some two decades of medical experience to the position. She enjoys getting to know the patients on a personal level so she can better care for them when the need arises.
Prior to joining the Clinic, Dr. Haly practiced internal medicine in several different settings including hospital, outpatient clinic, urgent care, occupational health and telemedicine. Initially, she worked as an outpatient physician in Charleston, South Carolina. After moving to Florida, she worked in the hospital in the U.S. Virgin Islands and in St. Petersburg, Florida. During the pandemic, she was able to expand her licenses to work in telemedicine in more states including New York, California and Missouri. Most recently, she was a hospitalist for the Legacy Health Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Haly continues to hold medical licenses in several states including Florida, South Carolina, Missouri, California and New York.
She and her husband Adam have four children and a rescue dog, Cruz, from St. Croix. Adam is the district sales manager for Argos in the cement division. Their oldest, Addison, is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a tooling engineer for Blue Origin. The next oldest, Emily Catherine (EC), will soon complete her bachelor’s degree in business, also at Clemson. The two youngest, Coleman and Grace, are in high school and middle school in Tampa. The family enjoys water activities including boating, water skiing and wakeboarding. Even Cruz loves to tube on the boat. Dr. Haly loves to run and swim and enjoys reading in her free time.
