Bret Kueber, M.D.
Dr. Kueber (pronounced KEE-brr) joined the Clinic full time in March 2022. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University’s School of Medicine, he completed his residency in Family Practice at the Cleveland Clinic. He is board certified in Family Medicine. As an avid sportsman, he has a special interest in sports medicine and is a strong believer in and practitioner of complementary medicine, acupuncture, herbal supplements, food as medicine and the value of healthy living.
Prior to joining the Clinic, Dr. Kueber practiced Complimentary and Integrative Medicine and Family Medicine for 16 years at the Parkview Physicians Group in Garrett, Indiana. But he is no stranger to the Island. Dr. Kueber has been vacationing in Boca Grande for years and has a place just off island already, where he enjoys spending time outdoors and fishing with his two teenage children.
Originally an aeronautical engineer (with a degree from Purdue University), he joined the local fire department in Cleveland where a physician mentor talked him into going into medical school after he finished his paramedic training. He is also a pilot with his own aircraft, and he’s an American patriot, having served as a doctor in the Army Reserves following 9/11.
