Thomas J. Ervin, M.D.


Dr. Ervin joined the clinic in November 2014. He practices internal medicine and hematology/oncology. He completed medical school at the University of Rochester and medical internship at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY, and Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, MA. Dr. Ervin completed his hematology/oncology training at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Ervin has taught internal medicine, hematology, and cancer medicine at Harvard and at the maine Medical Center affiliate of the University of Vermont School of Medicine. In 2006 he and his wife relocated to Boca Grande. Dr. Ervin joined Florida Cancer Specialists where he practiced until 2014. He holds medical staff appointments at Venice Regional Medical Center and Englewood Community Hospital.

Lauren Hana, M.D.


We are pleased to announce that Lauren Hana, MD, will begin seeing patients starting July 11, 2016, at the Boca Grande Health Clinic.


Dr. Hana will be a full time physician on staff at the Clinic. Dr. Hana comes to us from the University of Florida UF Health where she has been a full time Assistant Professor and Hospitalist Physician for the past five years. Prior to her present position she practiced general internal medicine in private practice for fifteen years. She specialized in the treatment of chronic medical conditions in adults with emphasis on both men and women's health. She is a graduate of the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine and completed her residency at Northwestern University Evanston and Glenbrook Hospitals. Dr. Hana is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.


Dr. Hana and her husband, Rick, have two grown children. Their daughter, Alexandra, is completing graduate school at George Washington University in Washington, DC and their son, Maxwell, lives and works in Tampa. Dr. Hana and her husband will reside in Boca Grande.
